Your Care Pathways

At Ki Acupuncture, treatment follows one of two main pathways, depending on your goals and needs.

The Therapeutic Care Pathway focuses on acupuncture, tuina, and other clinical bodywork to address specific health concerns, restore balance, and support long-term recovery. This route begins with an initial consultation and can continue through individual sessions, prepaid courses, or our Monthly Care Plan membership scheme for ongoing support.

The Restorative Care Pathway centres on full-body Swedish massage, reflexology, and Indian head massage for relaxation, nervous system regulation, and general wellbeing. These can be enjoyed as standalone sessions or, after your first course, through the Monthly Care Plan for regular restorative care.

Both pathways share the same foundation: skilled, attentive treatment tailored to your individual needs. The structure below outlines session types, prices, and how each pathway progresses.

Therapeutic Care Pathway

Acupuncture, tuina medical massage, or combined acupuncture & massage.

Step 1: Initial consultation

  • Initial consultation & treatment (1 hour): £60

Step 2: Continue your treatment

After your consultation, continue with individual sessions or save with a prepaid course:

Individual sessions

  • Acupuncture (50 minutes): £50
  • Acupuncture + tuina or Swedish massage (80 minutes): £75
  • Acupuncture + full-body Swedish massage (110 minutes): £125
  • Tuina or bodyweight massage — short (30 minutes): £40
  • Tuina or Swedish massage — long (45 minutes): £55

Prepaid courses

  • Acupuncture — 4 sessions: £180, or 8 sessions (maintenance): £350
  • Acupuncture + tuina or Swedish massage — 4 sessions: £280, or 8 sessions (maintenance): £550
  • Acupuncture + full-body Swedish massage — 4 sessions: £480, or 8 sessions (maintenance): £950
  • Tuina/bodyweight short — 4 sessions: £150, or 8 sessions (maintenance): £290
  • Tuina/Swedish long — 4 sessions: £200, or 8 sessions (maintenance): £390

Step 3: Ongoing care

After completing a course, you can:

  • Join the Monthly Care Plan for 60% off regular sessions (see the Membership page for details)
  • Book another course
  • Continue with individual appointments

Once you're on the Monthly Care Plan through the Therapeutic Pathway, you can also book discounted restorative massage sessions without needing a separate full-price reflexology, Swedish, or Indian head massage appointment first. In other words, the Therapeutic Care Pathway gives you full access to the Restorative Care Pathway.

All therapeutic options may include cupping, gua sha, acupressure, or heat therapy where appropriate and agreed.

Restorative Care Pathway

Full-body Swedish massage, reflexology, Indian head massage, and a curated blend of integrated hands-on techniques.

  • Full-body Swedish massage (80 minutes): £85
  • Reflexology + Indian head massage (60 minutes): £70
  • Indian head massage or reflexology (30 minutes): £40

You can pay-as-you-go, or join the Monthly Care Plan after your first four appointments for 60% off with a £20 monthly subscription. Places are limited so please ask about availability if you are interested.

This plan for the Restorative Pathway covers reflexology, Swedish, and Indian head massage sessions only. Access to discounted acupuncture or tuina sessions through the plan becomes available once you've completed a course within the Therapeutic Care Pathway. The Restorative Care Pathway does not grant full access to the therapeutic route.

Bookings & Payments

Appointments are by advanced booking only.

Once your session has been arranged, you’ll receive an automatic confirmation email with the address, a Google Maps link, and a link to complete payment. Get in touch here.

  • I kindly request prepayment for all bookings to secure your appointment.
  • Packages must be prepaid in full, but appointments can be scheduled flexibly at your convenience.

The Monthly Care Plan (see the Membership page) supports consistent, preventive care for chronic conditions and overall wellbeing. I recommend regular sessions for optimum results, rather than occasional or sporadic visits.

Accessibility & Cancellations

Please let me know if you require a ground floor room for wheelchair access or mobility reasons.

  • Cancellations or reschedules require at least 48 hours' notice.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a £15 short-notice fee (unless there are exceptional circumstances).
  • Same-day cancellations cannot be refunded.
Before Your Appointment
  • Eat a light snack about an hour before.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
  • Bring your medical history and any prescription details to your first acupuncture or tuina session.
  • If you're nervous about needles or have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to speak up.
Additional Offerings

Qigong and yoga sessions are available by arrangement, in-person or online, priced at £50 for a 50-minute private session. Please ask for details.

Continuing Your Care

Four-session courses are ideal for focused, short-term treatment — addressing a specific issue, rebalancing after illness, supporting recovery from an acute episode, or completing an initial phase of care.

Eight-session maintenance courses are designed for a deeper phase of care: ideal when the work needs more continuity or when you want to consolidate results before review.

The Monthly Care Plan offers a longer-term, steadier rhythm of support and prevention. It provides generous discounts for regular attendance and helps you maintain lasting progress, balance, and wellbeing throughout the year. A full description can be found on the Membership page.

Make a Payment

I kindly request payment on confirmation of your booking. Please do not pay until you have arranged your appointment.

You can pay securely by Stripe using the form below, or through bank transfer or PayPal on request.

Check with your private health insurer to see if they cover acupuncture treatments; many insurers recognise members of the British Acupuncture Council.

Cancellation policy

To help manage the clinic schedule, at least 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rearranged appointments.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice incur a £15 short-notice fee, unless there are exceptional circumstances*. Same-day cancellations or missed appointments cannot be refunded, as the appointment time cannot usually be offered to another patient at such short notice.

*Exceptional circumstances normally refer to unforeseen events such as sudden illness, accident, bereavement, or serious family emergency.
